The coward of the country (Malaysia). Video & Lyrics

The coward of the country (Malaysia)
Sung to the tune of Kenny Roger's Coward of the Country.

Lyrics

Everyone consider him the coward of the country
He never stood one time to prove the people wrong
His papa named him Najib, the folks just called him yellow
It was a fact that he would always hide, in Rosmah's shadow
He was only 16 when his daddy faced May 13
He looked on as his daddy act, seized power from Tunku
Growing up with his dad as PM, he lived in utter luxury
No challenge or hardship, Najib just had it all

Promise you, dad, not to do the things you've done
Walk away from trouble if I can.
Now I don't care that I'm weak, I just turn the other cheek.
I trust you know me enough to understand
I'd rather cheat than have to fight like a man.

He's just a career politician, with no track record achievement.
Since graduation, he just received titles because he is Razak's son.
From minister to prime minister, he never had to fight.
They were all handed to him on a silver platter!
Najib never understood the hardships of the people
The struggle and the poverty, he doesn't care what matter most
From his dad to the mamak, he only learned to spin untruth
He cheated and lied, corrupt to the core, he only wanted power

Promise you, dad, not to do the things you've done
Walk away from trouble if I can.
Now I don't care that I'm weak, I just turn the other cheek.
I trust you know me enough to understand
I'd rather cheat than have to fight like a man.

Hindraf, Bersih, Lynas, Felda, they march with united voices.
All met by soldiers, shot with water cannons and tear gas.
When the people cried, Najib said "you help me, THEN I help you"
He doesn't even understand the PM's role, a public servant.
After 5 years of Najib's rule, enough is enough
The people are not holding back, they'll stand and be counted
All Malaysians are waiting for the GE13, VOTE FOR CHANGE
We said, "This is for all Malaysians," as we watch BN fall.
And we heard him say,

Promise you, dad, not to do the things you've done
Walk away from trouble if I can.
Now I don't care that I'm weak, I just turn the other cheek.
I trust you know me enough to understand
I'd rather cheat than have to fight like a man.

Everyone consider him the coward of the country

Baru Bian & Brothers: This land is my land

Lyrics & video for the song "This land is my land" by Baru Bian and Brothers:

This Land is My Land
This Land is your Land
From Tanjung Datu, to the Lawas Highland
From the Rejang Valley, up the Usun Apau
This land was made for you and me

As I was driving, thru the Borneo Highway
I saw below me, the beach of Tanjong Lobang
I saw above me, the peak of Mount Murud
This land was made for you and me

I've roamed and rambled, I followed my footsteps
Through the virgin forests, of our mighty mountains
And all around me, a voice was saying
This land was made for you and me

This Land is My Land
This Land is your Land
From Tanjung Datu, to the Lawas Highland
From the Rejang Valley, up the Usun Apau
This land was made for you and me

I followed your low hills, down the coastal rivers
Your golden beaches, and the sunny bright waters
As the fog was lifting, a voice was calling
This land was made for you and me

In the street of the cities, along the longhouse ruai
By the kaki-lima, I see the people gathering
And the many are grumbling, and many are wondering
If this land's still made for you and me

This Land is My Land
This Land is Your Land
From Tanjung Datu, to the Lawas Highland
From the Rejang Valley, up the Usun Apau
This land was made for you and me
This land was made for you and me

This Land is My Land
This Land is your Land
From Tanjung Datu, to the Lawas Highland
From the Rejang Valley, up the Usun Apau
This land was made for you and me
This land was made for you and me

People's Uprising Rally #KL112 photos & videos

Left home early, 10am, and got a lift to the nearby LRT station on the way Pasar Seni to add to the numbers for Himpunan Kebangkitan Rakyat (People's Uprising Rally) also referred to as #KL112.

At this early hours. there was already a sizeable crowd. Had a photo taken at Pasar Seni:

People's Uprising Rally, crowd at Pasar Seni

On the way saw participants holding up placard that reads "Justice for "Teoh Beng Hock", hawkers selling yellow T-shirts from motorcycles, others selling mineral water and cold drinks:

At 11am, the road to Stadium was already very crowded:

Himpunan Kebangkitan Rakyat, crowded road to Merdeka Stadium

Outside Merdeka Stadium, posed for a photo with a DAP flag bearer:

Inside the stadium at 12pm, it wasn't that crowded, but the crowd keeps flooding into the Stadium until it was very full and the rest has to stand outside to listen to the speeches:

Packed crowd on field Himpunan Kebangkitan Rakyat

In front of me, I can see the crowd packed like sardines (well, almost lah) with the familiar Victoria Institution where I spent 2 years for Form 6 in the background:

And last, participants singing Negara Ku to signal the start of the rally and later, a singer singing "Ubah Sekarang" (Change Now) (videos):

The participants of Himpunan Kebangkitan Rakyat (People's Uprising Rally) singing Malaysia's National Anthem "Negara Ku" (Our Nation):

Himpunan Kebangkitan Rakyat - Ubah Sekarang

Here is a song "Ubah Sekarang" (Change Now) by a singer whose name I do not know.

Update: found from Malaysiakini that the singer is Ito from the rock group Blues Gang and the song title is ‘Ubah ini kali lah’ (Let's change this time).

BERSIH 3.0: Police brutality accounts by victims

The police during the BERSIH 3.0 rally for free and fair elections assulted some protesters in groups, probably to try to intimidate future participants from further participating.

Some of the victims of police brutality related their ordeal to Bersih at a press conference organised a day after the protest.

Many of the protesters claimed the police carried no name tags or identification numbers on their uniforms when they launched their attacks at about 6pm. The assault lasted for three hours.

These are not wild allegations; pictures of the injuries suffered by the protesters as a result of being beaten by the police are proof that the federal government had no intention of allowing the rakyat to exercise their fundamental right to assemble and voice out their unhappiness.

A protester, Adrian Low, 38, said he was repeatedly stomped on his back even after he was detained. His back still carries the footprints of the police boots.
Another protester, Nurul Amani Faizal, 28, said that 10 male police officers charged at her and beat her.
“They had just fired a tear gas at Masjid Jamek so my friends and I ran in the opposite direction. I wasn’t wearing the Bersih T-shirt but I was a rally participant. They caught hold of me and beat me.

“Then one officer slapped me and asked a female officer to arrest me,” she said, adding that she sustained injuries in her lower back.
Yet another protester, Mohamad Fazwan Yusoff, 23, sustained bruises to his face and left eye. He was about to leave Masjid Jamek when the police dragged him and assaulted him.
“My friends and I saw the police step on a lady so we went to help her. Suddenly, a group of policemen appeared and attacked us too.
“I don’t remember how many charged at me but I was beaten for several minutes and they didn’t stop even in the police truck.
“They just continued their assault,” he said.

Never-ending police brutality
Bersih steering committee member, Wong Chin Huat, who was also arrested, has said it is not unusual for the police to continue their insults and assaults even after the protesters were detained.
“They only stopped beating me when I fell to the ground; even then, they continued to shout racial insults in the trucks,” he had said.
Wong revealed that Bersih were told of policemen who were dressed in yellow Bersih T-shirts while videographing the detainees in the police trucks and detention centres.

Negara-ku, Tanggungjawab Bersama
Masa Depan, Milik Kita Semua
Jalan berliku, tentu mencabar
Bersama kita harungi

Orang muda, pikul harapan bangsa
Mara Depan, Negara tentu Cerah
Kuat semangat, kita berjuang
Bersama menuju, cita-cita rakyat

Ubah, Selamatkanlah Malaysia
Bersama pahatkan sejarah
Buka lembaran baru
Sama-sama kita menuju
perubahan di tangan mu

Together, we share the responsibilty for our Country,
The Future is ours too to share.

Mat Sabu joked about Lembu (cow)

This is the first time I saw Mat Sabu and from the reaction of the audience, Mat Sabu can really crack jokes and make people laugh.

However, he delivers an important and serious message - UMNO/BN must be kicked out from Putrajaya (Federal power) for real urgently needed reforms to start and not the so called reforms talked about by Najib Abdul Razak.

Wished I have the ability to transcript his jokes and message into Bahasa Malaysia or translate into English to reach a wider audience. Any volunteers>

Malaysians for Change - a video played in reverse

Listen (or read) the lines, first forward which painted a very bleak future for Malaysia. Now reverse it verbatim and you get a totally different brighter future. Yes, Malaysians together can make a change, for the better:

Dedicated to all Malaysians
by kingheny41

We are Malaysians
I am proud to say
We do not care
And it is a myth that
Our racism harmony is here to stay
Current evidence irrefutably suggest that
OUr vision for development will not be achieved.
We do not accept that
Integrity of our public institutions will be restored.
Deep down, we know that
Integrity of our public institutions will be restored.
Deep down we know that
Irresponsibility of the few
Will triumph over
The goodwill of Malaysian peoples.

In the next 10 years
Malaysia will not lead the world in expousing peace and justice.
It is foolish to believe
We can make a difference.

It is left to us to reverse it:

It is foolish to believe
Malaysia will not lead the world in expousing peace and justice.
In the next 10 years
The goodwill of Malaysian peoples
Will triumph over
Irresponsibility of the few
Deep down we know that
Integrety of our public institutions will be restored
We do not acccept that
Our vision for development will not be achieved.
Current evidence irrefutably suggest that
Our racism harmony is here to stay
And it is a myth that
We do not care
I am proud to say
We are Malaysians

New lyrics: Rasuah Sayang Eh

Rasuah sayang eh rasuah sayang sayang eh
Hey lihat nona jauh rasuah sayang sayang eh
Rasuah sayang eh rasuah sayang sayang eh
Hey lihat Pak Lah tidur rasuah sayang sayang eh

Budak Mongolia di luar pagar
Ambil C4 tolong bombkan
Saya budak baru nak mengajar
Kalau salah you duduk diam - diam

Rasuah sayang eh rasuah sayang sayang eh
Hey lihat Parliament rasuah sayang sayang eh

Parliament kita macam ZOO
Penuh dengan banyak binatang
Ada beruk, monyet dan kera
Kalau pergi bawalah kacang

Rasuah sayang eh rasuah sayang sayang eh
Hey lihat rempit jauh rasuah sayang sayang eh

Khairi kata rempit terer
Mereka mat cemerlang
Otaknya hendak ke mana
Mungkin nak jadi rempit di longkang

Rasuah sayang eh rasuah sayang sayang eh
Hey lihat polis jauh rasuah sayang sayang eh

Bila nak tiba hari raya
Polis kita merata rata
Muka mereka semacam saja
Bagi IC dan Ringgit Malaysia

Rasuah sayang eh rasuah sayang sayang eh
Hey Malaysia hancur rasuah sayang sayang eh
Rasuah sayang eh rasuah sayang sayang eh
Hey Malaysia hancur rasuah sayang sayang eh
Rasuah sayang eh rasuah sayang sayang eh
Hey Malaysia BOLEH rasuah sayang sayang eh

The real 1 Malaysia - forked tongue Najib

The real 1 Malaysia

Forked tongued cakap tak serupa bikin Najib Abdul Razak: "1 Malaysia is intended to provide a free and open forum to discuss the things that matter deeply to us as a Nation. It provides a chance to express and explore the many perspectives of our fellow citizens."

A look at the REAL 1 MALAYSIA (watch the video of Malaysian Police brutality and see if Najib's word match his police action:

On August 1st 2010, people from all walks of life gathered outside Amcorp Mall to hold a (peaceful) candlelight vigil. The purpose was to express the people's prolong dissatisfaction towards the ISA (Internal Security Act), a draconian law allowing detention without trial. For years the people of Malaysia have struggled to bring about the abolishment of the Act but to no avail....

8.00pm 1st August 2010:

The real 1 Malaysia - violence against the rakyat

VIDEO:

It seems ironic how those in power remains so blind, when everything they preach stands before them...

United the people of Malaysia stand, crying out for a change, and yet the government turns a blind eye and set their dogs on us.

N Tharmendran claimed military tortured him

N Tharmendran, the former RMAF sergeant who was the only lowly ranked RMAF staff who was charged for the theft of the 2 jet engines, claimed that he was tortured by a Major whose name Malaysiakini withheld, in a internal military investigation. Since it is certain such information will not be published by the hopeless newspapers, I reproduce what Malaysiakini reported Tharmendran revealed:

favourite method of his interrogators was to make him wear a crash helmet and repeatedly hit him as hard as possible.

"They used a golf stick and something long like a cricket bat. The reason is that when you hit me with a helmet (on), there's no mark. You can't find any mark, but the pain is internal pain. That's what Major (name withheld) told me. (He said) 'I can hit you how hard I want, but there won't be any mark. Even (if) you go to the doctor he will say you only have (a) headache"

And because of the physical abuse, Tharmendran said he suffered severe pain in his neck and shoulders and was barely move his left arm for a few days after the interrogation ended.

He also claimed that he was repeatedly stripped to his underwear, made to stand on a block of ice for up to an hour at a time, and threatened with death.

"I was told by this major, he has friends in the UTK (special forces) and KDN (Home Ministry) and it won't take him much time to get some men to shoot and kill me. Another thing he said was that nobody would believe me (if I report the torture), because he is the IO (investigating officer) and he has the authority. He said that, even if I go to the hospital and say I was being tortured by these people, he said nobody would believe me."

He believes he is not the only one being tortured by the intelligence officers, claiming at least 30 others were also experiencing the same ordeal for reasons unknown to him.

Hear what Tharmendran has to say yourself with the video of Thamendran describe his ordeal and torture by the Military Inteligence courtesy of Malaysiakini:

Malaysia crumbling under corrupt UMNO BN, Vote PR for good governance

Pyramid Malaysia crumble under UMNO BN ruleMalaysia under the current rule of the corrupt UMNO BN is disintegrating under the sheer weight of the many abuses, wanton wastages, and plain corruption which will take many pages to fully describe. However the video below and the time lapse series of photos on the left graphically describe what will happen to Malaysia if the Malaysia public does not wake up and continue to allow UMNO BN to robe and rape Malaysia to enrich themselves.

Malaysia voters must vote for Pakatan Rakyat (PKR of Parti Keadilan Rakyat, DAP or Democratic Action Party, PAS or Parti Islam Se-Malaysia and SNAP or Sarawak Nasional Party) to return them to Putrajaya (Federal power) to first enable them to undo all the unjust and wrong policies and systems plus help create a two-party system for proper check and balance.

As I had explained to an eligibke voter who have not registered as a voter, our Parliament and MPs are like her company board of director and company directors. If they mismanage the company, steal and set policies in the wrong direction, her company will eventually be bankrupt. And this is exactly the situation in Malaysia. The corrupt UMNO and BN Members of Parliament has mismanged and stole the rakyats money and that is why you have Idris Jala telling us that there is a possibility of Malaysia becoming bankrupt by 2019, just 1 year of Vision 2020 when Malaysia is supposed to become a developed country. What an irony.

Come on, Malaysians, let us not allow that to happen. A vote for BN is a vote for bankruptcy. A vote for PR (PKR DAP PAS SNAP) is a vote for good governance. Vote PR.

Video: Malaysia is crumbling. Don't let that happen
