Kajang move: UMNO/BN will throw in everything they have to defeat Anwar Ibrahim

Latest move in the "Kajang move", the by-election in the Kajang state constituency caused by the sudden resignation of Kajang ADUN Lee Chin Cheh: UMNO big wigs already making their rounds in Kajang to woo voters.

My prediction: UMNO/BN will do all in their capacity to defeat Anwar Ibrahim who had been a constant thorn in their rear. Whether they succeed or not is a different question, but this is their best chance of causing embarrasment to Anwar Ibrahim.

However, I hope they don't succeed.

Now police acts in cahoots with BN over sex video

For a long time already Malaysians suspect (strongly suspect) police to be another branch of UMNO/BN and now its latest antics shows that suspicions were well founded. Read rest of the article below reproduced with kind permission of Malaysiakini

PKR has flayed the police, charging the enforcement agency with working in cahoots with the BN ruling coalition over the sex video, allegedly featuring party de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim having sex with a sex worker.
In a press conference at PKR headquarters in Petaling Jaya, party leaders claimed that the police are already going around town claiming that Anwar is man in the video.
NONEVice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar (left in picture) said that she has received complaints that one SAC1 Isa Abdul Rahman from Bukit Aman has been giving talks to teachers in several schools in Kelantan for the past month, mainly to discredit the opposition leader.
“I was told that this officer from Bukit Aman has actually been telling teachers in Kelantan that Anwar is a threat to national security and the person in the video really is Anwar.
“I fully condemn this if it really is a Bukit Aman officer doing that. Whatever efforts used to discredit Anwar Ibrahim appear to have the encouragement of the police, BN, Umno and the mainstream media owned by BN,” she said.
Fellow vice-president Tian Chua also accused the police of “dancing to the tune of the ruling parties”, saying that he personally has also received complaints that Malay party workers have been pulled aside for “friendly advice” from the police.
“My election workers have been pulled aside and given a lecture by the police, saying that 'it's true that Anwar is the man in the video' and that they have 'inside information'.
“It's not isolated but widespread. Many of our Malay party members have been targeted to be given this sort of 'advice' that Anwar truly is the actor. Such talk has been experienced by many PKR members,” he said.
'The burden was left to Anwar to prove innocence'
PKR also accused the police of double standards, especially when it comes to the treatment of Anwar.
They claimed that though the principle of 'innocent until proven guilty' has been the guiding legal basis of criminal cases, the police seemed to have made up their minds about Anwar's guilt.
“When it comes to Anwar, the treatment is not normal... Anwar Ibrahim has already provided an alibi but now the police want accuse him as if the burden of proof is upon him. The same way, people should go to (Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak and his wife Rosmah Mansor) and ask what they were doing on the night of (Mongolian translator) Altantuya Shariibuu's murder.
NONE“With BN, the approach is always different. Why is it so different then when it comes to Anwar?” asked communications chief Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad (right), who was also at the press conference.
Chua also said that the police have been deliberately ignoring the glaring inconsistencies and criminal acts that have been allegedly committed with the distribution of the sex video.
“Apart from the fact that the police are not investigating the aspects of criminal intimidation and under the Film and Censorship Act, there is no issue of whether it is Anwar in the film or not.
“The police then said that they want to identify the watch until someone said it was not relevant. Then again the issue of the watch was brought up by the investigating officer. What's the watch about? The whole issue is to create the impression that Anwar is the actor as far as criminal justice is concerned...
“The issue here is about someone using the video material to intimidate and harass Anwar,” said Chua, before accusing the police of dragging their feet on the matter.

NONEChua proceeded to pull out a poster showing two screen grabs - one from the sex video said be recorded on Feb 21 and the other from a media organisation taken on Feb 22, the day after.
Chua pointed out that in the Feb 22 video taken by TV Selangor outside the courtroom where Anwar appeared for his ongoing sodomy trial, Anwar had longer hair, whereas the sex video showed a man with close-cropped hair.
"I don't know what Anwar can eat to make his hair grow so fast," quipped Nik Nazmi.
The sex video caper started on March 21 when businessman Shazryl Eskay Abdullah invited several journalists and editors for a screening of the footage at the Carcosa Seri Negara hotel in Kuala Lumpur, claiming that it was recorded at a KL spa.
He earlier said that he stumbled across the CCTV camera and its recording when he was allegedly summoned by Anwar to retrieve his Omega watch. Eskay later handed the watch over to the police, when he gave his statement together with his DNA in Bukit Aman.
While the full-length video has been released on popular video sharing website YouTube, Anwar has firmly denied that he was the man in the video, lodging a police report in the process.

Anwar sex tape - real or doctored? His Facebook posting

Kim Quek's detective work to investigate whether "Anwar" sex tape is a genuine portrayal of Anwar's extra-marital activity or not at Malaysiakini: Datuk T's sex video - Anwar was on Facebook

That "Anwar Ibrahim" sex tape was supposed to be recorded from 10.23pm to a0.45pm. So in order to find out whether it really was Anwar in that tape, we just need to look at his Facebook posting activities around that period.

According to Kim Kuek's investigation, Anwar had made Facebook posting at 10.40pm, 10.49pm, 10.50pm, and further another 7 more postings up till 11.28pm. So this indicates Anwar could not have been in that hotel room having sex with that female prostitute with a man watching.

Further that love-making part lasted 17 minutes while the tape duration was 22 minutes leaving only 5 minutes for the other activities featured in the tape:

1. "Anwar look-alike" (now called Mr X because of doubts created) walked into room with a male who gave instructions to a prostitute.
2. couple undressed
3. female walked into bathroom to take a bath
4. Mr. X wiped his lower body parts
5. Mr. X came out from bathroom, dressed himself and walked out of the room

Could all those above activities be completed withing 5 minutes?

UMNO sponsored Umi Hafilda's press conference? Your verdict

Previouw post asked: Umi Hafilda or Azmin Ali: Who would you believe?. Now there are more things to chew over for a conclusion.

According to a Puchong PKR member who attended the event expressed surprise at how the whole press conference:

"There were so many Umno members that the whole event was suspicious. Also, they outnumbered the reporters."

"It was the Umno members who were shooting her with questions… this is something unusual."

"Even the questions were not the kind the reporters would ask. One question posed was: why did Anwar go to Azmin Ali’s house to bathe his daughter Afifa? Malaysian reporters don’t ask such unethical questions."

"Every time Ummi Hafilda attacked Anwar and Wan Azizah, the Umno boys shouted and cheered like it was all a big Umno party."

"Ummi Hafilda also failed to describe the kind of suits she would file against Anwar and his team."

So looks like the conclusion is pretty straitht forward isn't it?

Are Malaysia's prosecuor liars? Anwar Ibrahim Sodomy 2 trial

Solicitor-General II Mohd Yusof Zainal Abiden
A big fuss was created at the trial of Anwar Ibrahim's Sodomy 2 trial resulting in a shouting match between the lead prosecutor for the case, Solicitor-General 2 Mohd Yusof Zainal Abiden (Datuk tite removed because I don't think our Datuks deserve their titles).

During the shouting match, Yusof claimed that the defence were given everything. Is that correct? Weren't the defence denied access to Saiful's police reports, the General Hospital's doctors' reports etc. So Malaysians, judge for yourself. Are our public prosecutors all a bunch of liars?

Shouting match at sodomy trial
There was pandemonium at the Kuala Lumpur High Court as a verbal free-for-all broke out today during the continuation of the Anwar Ibrahim sodomy trial.

The defence lawyers, the accused and Solicitor-General II Mohd Yusof Zainal Abiden were all involved, as were Anwar's supporters in the public gallery.

Yusof (right) has been a face of calm throughout the proceedings, but not today.

The shouting started after Justice Mohamad Zabidin Mohd Diah stood down the case due to a deadlock in the cross-examination of prosecution witness Dr Siew Sheue Seng of Hospital Kuala Lumpur.

Siew had refused to look at the sexual assault report form in which he had filled the particulars of complainant Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan, as senior defence lawyer Karpal Singh asked him about questions on the form and what he had written.

At times when Siew could not remember details such as Saiful's identity card number and police report number, he sought to refer to his final medical report and not the “pro-forma form” in which he had jotted down the particulars.

This led to a fiery exchange between the doctor and Karpal, with Siew maintaining that he did not want to look at the pro-forma form, but at the medical report.

Justice Zabidin ordered a recess and was about to leave the courtroom, when Karpal (left) made a remark that the witness appeared to be programmed like a robot in order to suppress evidence.

“What is the prosecution afraid of?” he asked.

Yusof took exception, saying the comment was unfair.

Anwar, who had left the dock, entered the fray by saying the prosecution is trying to fix him up.

“This is too much as you all (prosecution) are suppressing evidence and this is unfair,” he said.

Yusof rebutted by asking what Anwar found unfair, considering that the prosecution had given the defence everything.

As Anwar argued with Yusof, defence lawyer Sankara Nair questioned what the prosecution had actually handed over, given that documents had been withheld at each stage of the hearing.

Police warning

Anwar's supporters in the public gallery then joined in, also claiming that the prosecution is being unfair.

Anwar's wife Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail rushed over from the public gallery to try and calm him.

By now more police personnel were adding to the three already in the courtroom, to restore order.

A police officer was seen to be warning one of Anwar's supporters who had shouted at Yusof, prompting the latter to shout back: “You do not know the law!”.

Anwar confronted the police officer, shouting "Jangan nak tunjuk kuasa!" (Don't exert your authority).

The court interpreters and police told a number of those in public gallery, including PKR secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, to leave the room if they intended to have a discussion.

Anwar and his supporters immediately left, returning about an hour later. He assured a police officer that he would remain calm.

No police reports have been lodged on the incident.

IPU Report: Anwar Ibrahim Sodomy 2 Trial

The 24-page report on the trial of Datuk Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim in the High Court of Malaysia observed on behalf of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) by MARK TROWELL QC, August 2010.

THE TRIAL OF ANWAR IBRAHIM
Report on the trial of Datuk Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim in the High Court of Malaysia observed on behalf of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) MARK TROWELL QC
August 2010

Introduction
My report was intended to relate to the critical period of the trial of Datuk Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim (“Anwar") in the High Court of Malaysia at Kuala Lumpur in August 2010 when medical and scientiic experts were due to be called by the prosecution to prove the central allegation of sexual penetration. The complainant Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan (“Mohd Saiful”) had tive months earlier testihed how Anwar had forcibly penetrated his anus with his penis.

In his opening remarks at the start of the trial, the chief prosecutor told the Judge that Mohd Saiful‘s allegation of anal penetration would be supported by scientific evidence establishing that Anwar’s DNA had been detected in specimens taken from his anus and rectum when he was medically examined two days after the incident.

He further explained that although the medical examination didn’t find any evidence of physical injury to the anus or rectum that wasn’t conclusive of the fact that penetration had not occurred. The trial was Hxed to be heard during the entire month of August, but another issue derailed the trial yet again. This report concerns that issue and the considerable impact it has had on the general integrity of the trial.

However, before discussing this issue, it is worth providing some background to these critical events.

General Background

Datuk Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim had in the 1990's been Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia. However, in 1998 Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad dismissed him after he was charged with allegedly sodomising his wife’s driver and acting corruptly by attempting to interfere with the police investigation. He was convicted and imprisoned, but released when Malaysia’s Federal Court overtumed the conviction in September 2004.

On 2 September 2004 the Federal Court, by a majority of 2:1, upheld Anwar‘s appeal overturning the convictions and ordered his immediate release from prison. The Court was later to reject his appeal against conviction for acting corruptly, but he had already served that sentence.

The majority found the complainant, on whose testimony the prosecution was based, to be an unreliable witness. Given the various inconsistencies and contradictions in his testimony, the Judges concluded that it was not safe to convict on the basis of his uncorroborated testimony alone. They found that Anwar should have been acquitted without having to enter a defence.

The Federal Court’s decision was for Anwar Ibrahim the culmination of a 6-year struggle for justice after pleading his innocence through the various tiers of the Malaysian court system.

DDuring his lengthy period of incarceration, Anwar Ibrahim became the symbol of political opposition to the Mahathir regime. Amnesty Intemational declared him to be a prisoner of conscience, stating that he had been arrested in order to silence him as a political opponent.

Prevented by legislation from retuming to Parliament until April 2008, Anwar was still considered by many as having the potential to become the prime minister of Malaysia.

The ruling alliance, Barisan Nasional, called an early election for 8 March 2008, which some oommentators observed was an attempt to prevent Anwar returning to parliament.

The election was a disaster for Barisan Nasional. Opposition parties seized a third of parliamentary seats and Eve states in the worst ever showing for the coalition that had ruled Malaysia for half a century. Anwar‘s wife, Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, who for a time had been Malaysia’s first female opposition leader, declared that she would resign her Permatang Pauh parliamentary seat and force a by-election.

On 26 August 2008, Anwar won the by-election with a majority of more than 15,000 votes retuming to Parliament as leader of the three-party opposition alliance known as Pakatan Rakyat (PKR).

Anwar Charged

Earlier that year, and just before the national election in March 2008, a young man named Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan (“Mohd Saiful") was invited by a friend, employed by Anwar, to work in the opposition leader’s ofice.

Mohd Saiful, then aged 23 years, was unemployed having left his electrical engineering studies at Universiti Tenaga Nasional because his academic performance failed to meet the required standard. He joined as a volunteer, but later became a paid member of staff as Anwar's private assistant.

On 28 June 2008, Mohd Saiful lodged a police report claiming that not only had Anwar sodomised him on the aftemoon of Thursday 26th June 2008, but that he had been sexually assaulted about eight to nine times against his will by Anwar over the previous two months.

On 29 June 2008, the non-government political news website Malaysiakini reported that an aide of Anwar Ibrahim had lodged a police report claiming that he had been sodomised by him. The next day, Anwar insisted he would fight a by-election later that year and form a new govemment despite rumours he would soon be charged with sodomy. He announced that he would contest a by-election for the Permatang Pauh parliamentary seat vacated by his wife and PKR leader Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.

On 30 June 2008, the Malaysiakini news service reported that police investigations into the sodomy complaint against Anwar Ibrahim had been completed and the papers had been delivered to the Attorney-GeneraI's Chambers for further action. lt further quoted senior opposition party officials saying Anwar may be arrested in the next 48 hours, arguing it was to stop him contesting the by-election.

Anwar was arrested on July 15 2008 and kept overnight but no charges were hled over the accusations made by Mohd Saiful two weeks earlier. At the time, Anwar refused to provide a DNA sample, claiming that it could be misused to fake evidence against him. Police told Anwar to report back to them within 30 days.

After his release, the former deputy premier said the allegation was a high-level conspiracy to prevent him from entering parliament, adding that he refused to give his DNA, as he did not believe in the system.

"It should not be used as a personal vendetta against me. I was questioned for 5-% hours; I was stripped naked including the examination of my private parts. Why treat me like a major criminal and a public enemy?" [Reuters Thursday July 17, 2008]

Anwar said the police chief harbored a grudge against him after he lodged a report with anti-corruption agency officials saying the police chief had fabricated evidence against him in an assault case 10 years before.

Anwar was finally brought before the Sessions Court on 7 August 2008 charged under s. 377B of the Penal Code. The charge alleged that he committed the offence of sodomy against Mohd Saiful on 26 June 2008. Anwar pleaded not guilty to the charge. Despite the allegations of earlier sexual assaults, the prosecution chose to charge Anwar only with the last act allegedly committed at the Desa Damansara Condominium.

With Anwar in the midst of a political comeback, many supporters viewed the sodomy charge as a desperate attempt by the government to cling to power. The timing of the charge, they suggested, was just too coincidental with his return to politics.

Saiful’s Allegations

Mohd Saiful alleged that on the day of the alleged incident he was asked by Anwar to come to a private condominium not far from the centre of Kuala Lumpur to meet with him and discuss work related matters and deliver documents.

He alleged that he arrived at about 2.45pm. He stopped at the security gate and gave the password “Mokhtar", which he claimed Anwar had told him to use to enable him to enter the compound. Video cameras at the security gate recorded his arrival and later departure. Security cameras also monitored the public areas of the apartment complex. Having parked his vehicle, Mohd Saiful took the lift to the tifth floor and having entered the apartment says he found Anwar seated at the dining table. He said that Anwar asked him to have sex with him and being “angry and frightened” he complied with the demand and then went into the bedroom where the alleged offence took place.

Medical Examinations

Two days later, on 28 June 2008, Mohd Saiful went to the private hospital Pusat Rawatan Islam (“Pusrawi”) in Jalan Tun Razak to be medically examined.

During the examination, he told Dr. Mohamed Osman Abdul Hamid that for the last few days his anus was painful and that a “plastic" item had been inserted into it.

A proctoscopy examination by Dr. Osman showed no physical signs of penetration and a nonnal anus and rectum. After the examination, Mohd Saiful then told Dr. Osman he had been sodomised by a “VlP”. Dr Osman recommended that because of the allegation of sodomy he be examined again at a government hospital.

More than two hours later, Mohd Saiful went to Hospital Kuala Lumpur (“HKL”), which was very near to Hospital Puswari. Three specialist doctors examined him later that night, but again they found no evidence of injury and in their words “...no conclusive clinical Endings suggestive of penetration to the anus and no significant defensive wound on the body of the patient."

Various swabs were taken from his body for scientific analysis. These included swabs taken from his tongue, nipples, body, perianal region and rectum. High and low rectal swabs and blood samples were also taken for DNA prohling. For some reason, these samples didn’t arrive at the chemistry laboratory for analysis until two days later and there was some issue about the proper labeling of the exhibits.

lt is interesting to note, that Mohd Saiful testified at the trial that he told the medical examiners he had not washed his anus nor had he defecated before the examination. He said under cross-examination that he had not washed to preserve the evidence, which was a curious thing for a victim of sexual assault to do.

It is well known that victims of sexual assault almost always wash their bodies in an attempt to ‘cleanse’ themselves of the sexual contact. Very few have the presence of mind not to wash themselves so as to preserve evidence of sexual contact. Mohd Saiful’s explanation was also curious because he claimed to be a devout Muslim, which meant that he would need to wash himself before being called to daily prayers.

But in any event, evidence of Anwar’s DNA upon or in the body of the complainant would undoubtedly be persuasive evidence of sexual contact, if it could be proved.

Before the adjoumment of the trial proceedings on 17 February 2010, Anwar’s lawyer Sankara Nair claimed there were many questionable aspects of the prosecution DNA evidence and announced that the defence had appointed foreign DNA and forensic experts to debunk the prosecution's claim of a DNA match.

Mr. Nair said the PKR leader had engaged the services of DNA expert Dr Brian Leslie McDonald from Sydney, Australia, and two forensic experts Prof Dr C. Damodaran from Chennai, India and Associate Professor David Lawrence Noel Wells from Melbourne, Australia.

The Malaysian Penal Code: "unnatural offences"

Anwar Ibrahim was charged with committing an act of sodomy. lt is more properly described as “camal intercourse" contrary to Section 377B of the Penal Code.

Homosexuality or homosexual acts are not defined in the Malaysian Penal Code. They are described by reference to "unnatural offences" deemed to be "against the order of nature" and are punishable by up to 20 years imprisonment and whipping.

Most important reform: just independent judiciary

Because of decades of power abuses and wanton corruptions by unrepentent UMNO/BN, Malaysia urgently need reforms, but the one of the most important reform is the tainted judiciary. The Judiciary is the Last Bastion of Hope and Justice especially if our rights are trampled upon by the executive and its croonies and we need to seek justice from the courts and judges.

Just look at how Anwar is denied access to his accuser Saiful Bukhari's police statement. When one is accused of a crime, how can the accused be denied such crucial information in order to defend oneself? Imagine if you are the one who stand accused in the dock and you are unable to get whatever needed to enable you to defend yourself. Do you want to face such a desperate situation? I hope not.

Please Malaysians, do whatever you can to remove the unrepentant UMNO/BN from the seat of power in Putrajaya and help start this process of reforms, the birth of a counter-balancing 2 party/coalition system and truly free and fair elections which are only possible if you help put Pakatan Rakyat as the next federal government to initiate the process.

If you are unable to do more, at the very least do ensure you register as a voter and vote or if you are already a registered voter, participate in this voter-get-voter and get at least one eligible voter to register at the nearest post office plus verify you are still registered and check your voter registration also registered where you want to vote.

Appeal to get Saiful's statement dismissed

The Federal Court today dismissed Anwar Ibrahim's appeal to obtain Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan's witness statement which was recorded by the police.

Today's decision comes after the apex court had earlier allowed the acceptance of a two-page broad reasons by the Court of Appeal as a basis in hearing the leave application.

In a unanimous decision, the apex court led by Chief Judge of Malaya, Arifin Zakaria, ruled that the High Court ruling was not within the definition of a decision.

“It does not dispose of the rights of the appellant. Hence, the application before us is dismissed.”

Arifin agreed with the Court of Appeal judges that it is not a final order and could be raised when the trial ends.

The other judges sitting with Arifin were Justices James Foong and Md Raus Sharif.

The sodomy charge against Anwar, faces a historic contradiction when complainant and star witness Saiful alleged the June 26,2008, Desa Damansara condominium incident was non-consensual.

Despite this, the Permatang Pauh MP was charged under Section 377b of the Penal Code with consensual carnal intercourse.

Just last Thursday the Kuala Lumpur Hospital forensic pathologist, Dr Siew Sheue Feng, told the High Court that Saiful had told the doctors the alleged sodomy incident was done without force.

On May 11, High Court judge Justice Mohamad Zabidin Mohd Diah dismissed lead counsel Karpal Singh's application to have a copy of Saiful's witness statement.

The decision was upheld by the Court of Appeal which only provided the broad reasons of its decision rather than the lengthy detailed written grounds of judgment which under normal circumstances may run in excess of 20 pages.

Anwar Ibrahim The Voice of Democracy in Malaysia

Dear Supporter,

Malaysia was hit by the global recession and 2009
was a difficult year for many of us. More jobs
were lost and more people were left unemployed than
at any time in our nation's history.

There are some indications that the economic
situation is improving in 2010 but I released a
statement today urging people not to be misled by a
few statistics. To say that the “the worst is
over” is not only premature but irresponsible. READ
MY STATEMENT HERE

For 10 years the government has spent more money
than it has made. In fact increasing government
expenditure has been the defining element of
Malaysia's economic policy during this period. The
natural outcome of its approach is to register some
small amount of growth. But our continued reliance
on an outdated strategy is taking us down the road
of economic serfdom. And the government's failure
to adopt creative economic policies to make us
competitive in a global economy has left Malaysia
lagging behind our neighbors in the region.

It is also true that corruption remains rampant and
massive government projects are often unnecessary,
cost too much, and benefit only a few people. We
cannot afford to keep losing billions every year.

The private sector has not benefited from the
increase in spending. Small and medium sized
businesses were more vibrant and active 20 years
ago than they are today. This means that the
economic policies of the BN are still not creating
enough jobs and opportunities for the vast majority
of Malaysians.

Pakatan Rakyat believes that the structural
problems with the economy must be addressed
urgently so that Malaysia can regain its
competitive edge in the region. We promise to
safeguard our future and our children's future by
being a government that is accountable to the
people, transparent in its dealings and committed
to a reform agenda that restores confidence in the
judiciary, strengthens institutions of civil
society and shows zero tolerance for corruption and
cronyism.

Please support Pakatan Rakyat and our pursuit of a
brighter future for Malaysians. Send this email to
five of your friends and ask them to join our
movement.

INVITE FIVE FRIENDS

Thank you,
Anwar Ibrahim

Saiful's court testimony contradicts Rahimi

Video: Scandal, Sodomy and Murder: Part 2 of 3

Contradiction between Saifoul (or is it Saifool,) oh, Saiful's Bukhari's court testimony in the SodUMNOmy 2's trial, there is a contradiction between Saiful's testimony and what "Najwan?" Rahimi said in a video interview (Sodomy 2). Here is the video. Just in case you don't have time, below is the transcript of the part in question. Or listen and judge for yourself (from just before 7 min. onward):

According to Shazwan Mustafa Kamal (Malaysian Insider: Saiful says Anwar was his idol),

I (interviewer): Who is Saiful Bukhari? "Najwan"? Rahimi knows him. They were in university together.

R (Rahimi): During university day, I mean, as far as I know him, I mean he was, he hates Anwar so much.

I: So "Najwan"? Rahimi knows a rat when he heard that Saiful working for Anwar.

R: My perception is that when I saw him the first time, he was with Anwar. And when I heard that he was working at Anwar's office, my thinking was that he wanted, he was there to sabotage Anwar.

I: So who do you believe, Saiful or Anwar?

R: Obviously it is Anwar. I mean, eh, logically, Saiful is much more stronger. I mean he was well built. And Anwar is a 61 years old man, and he has back pain. And he was just, er, he just arrive from Mecca, performing his, er, religion, and it doesn't make sense that he will such an, I mean, eh, this offence.

I: And here is Saiful Bukhari in the Deputy Prime Minister office with Najib Razak (inaudible).

Anwar: It is in evidence.....

Tried googling for "Nazwan Rahimi" and found this in Haris's blog: Saiful Bukhari photographed with Umno VIPs, so what? comment section:

goldenscreen Says:

July 1, 2008 at 8:40 pm
And here is Saiful replying in the blog on March 2008, trying to defend himself against allegations of being a musang berbulu ayam (aka SPY), even thought the writer did not name anyone as the SPY.

Bayangkan betapa beratnya beban yang beliau terpaksa pikul. SEORANG. Tiada siapa yang tampil utk membantu beliau walaupun kononnya ramai yang menyokong dan mahu menolong kempen Pilihanraya DSAI. Apalagi saudara sbg sepupunya.

Salah ke saya pergi dengar ceramah? Ceramah tu hanya utk org tertentu shj ka?

Beliau sendiri yang meminta pertolongan saya utk membantu beliau menguruskan program DSAI sepanjang pilihanraya.

Jadi sbg kawan saya membantu beliau kerana beliau sudah tiada daya lagi untuk memikul 4 tanggungjawab sekali gus. Kawan punya hal, saya tidur hanya 2-5jam sahaja dlm satu hari.

Saya hanya membantu Rahimi sahaja semasa kempen.

Jangan memfitnah sembarangan saudara Najwan..

Aku berserah kdp Allah s.w.t..

Assalammualaikum..

Masyaallah Najwan, sampai bila saudara nak berhenti memfitnah.. Cukuplah saudara dah malukan saya, jatuhkn jatuh, sampai saya terpaksa tarik diri dari Universiti.. Hidup dalam kegelapan tanpa arah tuju..

Rahimi sepupu saudara tu sahabat saya.. Sepanjang kempen pilihanraya, beliau perlu mengalas 4 jawatan iaitu Setiausaha Politik, Setiausaha Sulit, Pembantu Khas dan Koordinator Politik.

Bayangkan betapa beratnya beban yang beliau terpaksa pikul. SEORANG. Tiada siapa yang tampil utk membantu beliau walaupun kononnya ramai yang menyokong dan mahu menolong kempen Pilihanraya DSAI. Apalagi saudara sbg sepupunya.

Salah ke saya pergi dengar ceramah? Ceramah tu hanya utk org tertentu shj ka?

Beliau sendiri yang meminta pertolongan saya utk membantu beliau menguruskan program DSAI sepanjang pilihanraya.

Jadi sbg kawan saya membantu beliau kerana beliau sudah tiada daya lagi untuk memikul 4 tanggungjawab sekali gus. Kawan punya hal, saya tidur hanya 2-5jam sahaja dlm satu hari. Sedangkn saya ni bukan ada apa2.

Saya pon hairan, mana pergi penyokong parti atau kawan Rahimi
semasa beliau amat memerlukan pertolongan.

Believe it or not: Prosecutor has Anwar? semen specimen

Would you believe this????? The prosecutor, Solicitor-General II Mohd Yusof Zainal Abiden, in Anwar Ibrahim's second sodomy trial claimed they have semen specimen in Saiful's (Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan) anus. Unfortunately the credibility of Malaysian institutions, especially the PDRM (Polis Diraja Malaysia or Royal Malaysia Police) is so low that I don't even know if even 10% of the people believe them.

Here are the comments in Malaysiakini's "Prosecutor: We have semen specimens" article to show you how credible is their claim (name changed for privacy):

This is not a new "technology". About 20 years ago, women already can get pregnant without any sexual intercourse (no offence). The medical report already showed that Saifool's anus was not penetrated. After more than a year there is a sperm stain? If there was really a sperm stain, I believe its already a big news in the main stream media last year. Why disclosed now?

by GRN - 2 hours ago
So they found semen in Saiful's rear end and immediately these fellas concluded it belongs to Anwar. Sherlock Holmes cold not have done any better. Notice something? They have the semen but no DNA test done. Or if it has been done, could it have gone missing again like the first time 10 years ago?

by LS - 2 hours ago
So what if you have SEMEN? Anwar is being charged for intentionally having carnal intercourse against the order of nature with Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan where Anwar inserted his penis into Saiful's anus and Anwar is alleged to have committed a crime which is punishable under section 377B of the penile code. The crime is only committed when Anwar's penis penetrates Saiful's anus. Whether semen is found in Saiful's anus is immaterial. As far as section 377B of the penal code is concerned, SODOMY = Penetration of the anus.

...DSAI, I salute you !...for you must be a superterrorsodomiser in order for your semen to be found inside whassisname?'s anus without penetration at all ! Its either that or We all know who has been up to monkey tricks again, don't we all ? No wonder we have the whole world watching this trial !

by DD - 2 hours ago
Saifool, shame on you for having unsafe sex!

by NL - 3 hours ago
Semen turns from jellylike to liquid within a short time and got absorbed by the body, and any excess would have been mixed with the three day old feaces, and contaminated......

by KG - 3 hours ago
For DNA evidence to be admissible in court (I mean a real court, not Umno's court) the chain of custody must be very tight and well documented. This covers every step from collection, transport, receiving, storage and testing and samples must be made available for independent verification. Now they expect to nail Anwar by asking a govt chemist to testify in court that Anwars DNA was found in Saiful's $hithole and that's it. I'm sure the chemist will testify that all samples have been destroyed. How do I know? That was exactly what happened in Sodomy I. Can they convince the judge? You bet! Can they convince the public? Hell, no!

Malaysian's Judiciary will be once again the laughing stock for the whole world thanks to BN, particularly UMNO.

by CGT - 3 hours ago
The prosecution seems to have a lot of holes in their story (pun unintended). We know from the two medical reports that no sexual penetration was detected but somehow, semen was found in Saiful's anus. This could only be possible if Anwar has a very small penis, and I'm sure this can easily be proved or disproved. Imagine a tetrapack with a 0.5mm straw hole. You can't force anything bigger than a straw through the hole without enlarging or tearing it at the seams. Well, one would imagine the same logic to apply to Saiful's anus.

We have Act 1 Scene 1 played by musang, petai and AP.Now Act 1 Scene 2 will take the stage shortly. One of the actors in S 1 has gone and being baked in lake of fire, who is next? Answer:Too obvious to mention.

by WR - 3 hours ago
The prosecution must clarify if they found semen or they found DNA. It is surprising that Saiful could carry the shit in his colon for days so that the semen were not flushed out when he excreted. Those shit must have got into his head and the heads of those he met. Anyway, it is easy to place semen as well as DNA and let us not be fooled by that. Someone could have instructed Saiful to masturbate and place some of his own semen in his ass hole with the planted DNA of DSAI. In this case, it would be obvious that Saiful's own DNA found in the semen sample will be taken as a contamination. Defence counsel please remember to question prosecution witness on the density of Saiful's DNA found in the semen sample (I am sure chemist would say he/she was not asked to determine that).

by LN - 4 hours ago
Why comment so much ? wait la, they will get everything, then you all decide la. Sperm is sperm, how to lie, M******** Anwar and a get a specimen, or he is a donor, otherwise how can you get a specimen ? Anwar will have a chance to test it as well, and calling Najib, Rosmah and I also think he should call the Hundreds of people that spoke to Saiful too. Why try to drag these two in, the chance doing that is NIL. No reason to unless they have evidence , but they don't. Real wayang guy, now trying to drag Najib and Rosmah to distract his sins . My this guy must be put away for a long time.

Sperm is sperm, that is right, but it can be anybody's sperm including this idiot LN.

oh ya... saifool ( a young guy of 20 +) did " tonggeng" there helplessly for a 60 + old man to sodomise him ! And now there is semen left overs ! We believe ! Yes we believe ! Please also believe my grandmother died a virgin !

by DC - 4 hours ago
Well Well Well! They have Anwar's semen taken from Saiful's virgin ass. Looks like The Malaysian Judiciary circus is back in town. I'm sure the show that is lined up this time will certainly be entertaining or maybe even more thrilling then sodomy I.

by AI - 4 hours ago
It's obvious to all and sundry that the DNA samples taken from Anwar prior to the Sodomy 1 Trial in 1998 have now been introduced to Saiful's specimen samples. The fact that there was no penetration proves it.

by CT - 4 hours ago
Hmm... assuming this Shitfool decided to preserve the precious load in his anus, and decided not to pass motion for how many, 2 days? OK perhaps some medical person can let us know if semen samples can still be obtained from this Shitfool's anus. No penetration, but semen inside anus - the UMNOputras new miracle sex act.

If the Americans can make Avatar, they can stage anything! But in BolehLand, they are one step ahead of the Americans in staging anything!! I think even James Cameron is just a rookie!

Mohd Yusof Zainal Abiden, YOUR semen is worth less than a fruit fly's now. Sorry to say, your bloodline shall be terminated and your offspring will lead meaningless and wasted lives unless they disown their wicked and spineless father for his part in this despicable plot to thwart the rakyat's desire for clean government.

by KM - 4 hours ago
2 doctors' reports said no sign of penetration and the PP said they found semen stain and this will prove penetration! Hahaha, so naive of the PP. Someone needs to tell him 10 ways how semen stain can enter the anus. ONE of which is to be injected via an insertion of a small acquarium air tubes. Dumb PP seeking glamor. I am sure Saiful will say he was drugged so that 'much time was spent' to allow semen to be 'left' in his anus. Oh, was there any semen actually? Or he will have to answer why he allowed such an elderly man with severe back problem to sodomize him.

by HR - 5 hours ago
The Criminal Procedure Code places sodomy and oral sex in the same category. Are to believe that all the ministers, judges, prosecutors, doctors and the witnesses be they man or woman do not indulge in oral sex? Hypocrites. Stop this sham trial.

by SR - 5 hours ago
WHAT ??? Semen still in your anus days after you see Najib then you go for your examination? Man, you have a serious case of CONSTIPATION. Wrong doctor, Saiful !

by SB - 5 hours ago
Huh? Initial reports by doctor says no penetration but chemist report found semen in anus. Is this like saying no bullet wound but found bullet inside body? Cant wait to see the mystery revealed....

by SR - 5 hours ago
WHAT?? Semen in the Anus still exist days after Saiful gone to see Najib? This guy should be seeking treatment for CONSTIPATION. Wrong doctor, Saiful !

by KN - 5 hours ago
Solicitor-General Zainal and his team are totally out of their depth. They are setting themselves up to be humiliated in court. You cannot convict a person based on DNA evidence alone. DNA is always considered supplementary evidence. Read Bruce Tan's article in MT for a clearer picture. Sodomy II: A nation prepares to go on trial

by ai - 6 hours ago

Yeah how long does semen stay in the anus after the act? Saiful didn't have any motion or wash for 2+days? Looks like he keeps himself well groomed from all the press I have seen.

by ai - 6 hours ago

I would be interested to know the date on the chemist report(was it after the court forced Anwar to give samples), and is there a way to verify these so called retrieved samples(was the same result confirmed from both hospitals and different independent chemists)

by r - 6 hours ago

ehm...semen? so he did it bareback, kind of stupid with Aids being an issue. and is he stupid enough to leave behind evidence. and still no sign of penetration, so how did the semen get there? and how long later did the guy go to the hospital after the so call incidents..didn't shower or go toilet. dam good la our CSI team

by BTN - 6 hours ago

Ya right. The last time they found semen on a mattress and they landed DSAI in prison. Mind you the bed is a static and dead object. This SaiFool is moving object and the fact he has semen on his anus is really no surprise.

by G - 6 hours ago

And for this En Mohd Zainal Abiden, you and the lot that is conspiring against this honest man will burn in Hell!

by FY - 6 hours ago

dear God!!!!!!!! How much more can Malaysian will be FORCE to stumuck this?????????!!!!!!!!

by k - 6 hours ago

Indeed, they have semen specimen. As Saiful made a police report 2 days after the alleged act how did the specimen survive? Were they planted there by SAC Rodwan who met Saiful in Concorde Hotel Shah Alam? As I remembered the same Rodwan planted Anwar's blood sample on the infamous mattress and the chemist's testimony was demolished by the defense. Do these goons think unverified DNA evidence will convince the public? DNA evidence is the easiest to fake in the world. Where's the independent lab test? Too cowardly to hand over a sample to the defense?

Anwar Ibrahim sue Anifah Aman

Anwar Ibrahim will sue Anifah Aman if he does not apologize and withdraw his claim that Anwar offered Anifah a very high position, namely the post of Deputy Prime Minister if he cross over to Pakatan Rakyat from Barisan. This should be the way. Will Najib Abdul Razak dare to sue those who made allegations that Najib has connections to the Altantuya Shariibuu murder and improprieties in the purchase of the submarines?

Anifah Aman is the current Foreign Minister and made the above statement at a joint press conference after meeting with United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in Washington DC.
