Azmin Ali, Zaid Ibrahim and Hulu Selangor by-elecion

Mahathir thinks that Azmin Ali is Prime Minister material but was not chosen. Why was he not chosen? My guess is DAP and Amanah is not comfortable with him as shown the tussles experienced in the Kajang move.

But what do I think of Azmin Ali? Perhaps Azmin Ali has the administer ability as shown by him becoming the Mentri Besar of Selangor. However, I too is not sure of what I really think of him, whether I would be comfortable with him eventually becoming the PM candidate.

Why? Perhaps has the political prowess to move around in political arena. But is he ruthless in this pursue?

I was polling agent for the 25th March 2010 by-election. I remembered meeting up with a group of other polling agents in Bangsar in the early morning of that day to carpool to Kuala Kubu Baru. And this was what happened. On the night before the by-election, we were informed that the voting center where we were supposed to be on duty was changed. Then when we met at Bangsar, there was another changed. Not only that, on the way to Kuala Kubu Baru, we were told of another change. I can't remember if on arrival at Kuala Kubu Baru if there was a fourth change in polling center.

All this was causing confusion. Why were there so many unnecessary changes till we were not sure because of all this confusion, there might be certain places where there might be some polling centers? Were there some sabotage? I can't say for sure but I have suspicions.

There are talks that Azmin Ali was not happy with Zaid Ibrahim in PKR and that he view Zaid as a threat to his position in PKR? Did Azmin Ali and his cohorts worked to sabotage Zaid Ibrahim chances in the Hulu Selangor by-election? I don't have the inside stories but if you have please leave your comments in the comment box below.

By the way, Zaid Ibrahim lost the by-election to P. Kamalanathan (the notorious hand kisser) by a slim margin of 3.6%

Amanah, PAS, Hadi and UMNO BN (and divorcing wives)

The progressive members of PAS left PAS and formed Amanah to continue cooperation with DAP and PKR. Why? Because cooperation of DAP and PKR become very problematic recent months especially with Abdul Hadi Awang leading PAS.

And some PAS members had been screaming for those who left PAS to form Amanah to resign their elected offices plus divorce their wives. But are their demands justified?

My opinions. PAS contested in past elections against UMNO BN in cooperation with DAP and PKR as Pakatan Rakyat plus the Common Policies Platform. This cooperation and Common Policies did not provide for Hudud. And certainly not one component party (PAS) leaving Pakatan Rakyat to form a Selangor State Government with the tainted UMNO BN.

And now Husam Musa, the former PAS Vice President, have come out to confirm what many already have accepted as fact that Hadi had conspired to leave Pakatan Rakyat to form Selangor State Government with UMNO BN with cooperation from a few PKR ADUNs after the 2013 elections (correction, it seemed it was during the Selangor Mentri Besar crisis when PAS was in loggerhead with DAP and PKR about removing Khalid as Mentri Besar).

That is clear cut betrayal of DAP, PKR, Pakatan Rakyat and especially those who voted for the opposition in the 2013 elections. So now with you tell me, with this, who should resign from their elected offices and divorce their wives?

Hadi conspired to form Selangor unity government with Umno, says former PAS veep

UMNO members: Should SPR President and Deputy President resign?

According to a media statement (Kenyataan Media) by PKR below, they should resign because there are UMNO members and therefore there is conflict of interest and they cannot be expected to be independent.

However, I remembered reading they Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof (President SPR/EC) and Wan Ahmad Wan Omar (Deputy President SPR/EC) claimed they had resign prior to taking up the post. However, I am not in a position to check the veracity of their statements.

Even then, if they had really resigned prior to taking up their posts, because of their past association with UMNO, there would still be sentiments of attachment to UMNO and therefore I doubt they can really be independent. And from their past actions and statements, my opinion is they are not independent and tend to side UMNO/BN.

So my opinion is that they should resign irrespective of their current UMNO membership and based on their past actions including allowing the Election Offences Act Amendment to be presented and passed by the UMNO/BN dominated Parliament plus other reasons too long to be appended here.

No KP 500124105279
No KP Lama 2698922
No Keahlian UMNO 113804

Is outgoing Selangor State Secretary a liar?

In the controversies over the appointment of Mohd Khusrin Munawi as the Selangor State Secretary which no one wants, the outgoing State Secretary Ramli Mahmud has come out to claim that the Selangor Menteri Besar had been informed which the MB and his aid Faekah denied.

Apparently Ramli had keep quiet about Khusrin even though he had attended 5 meetings - two state exco meetings, two state economic action council meetings and a function held to fete his retirement in March this year.

Moles and turncoats: Will PR lose out at next General Elections?

From an email forward:

Subject: Will PR lose out at next General Elections?

Interview with a former UMNO Supreme Council member, did not want his name posted here and says he has no political affiliations but that he is "sincerely anti-UMNO.:

Will Pakatan Rakyat lose out at the next general Elections?

Well it certainly looks like they will, so much of negative publicity and bashing they receive from UMNO including the latest episodes from the likes of UMNO moles like Zaid, Gobla and many more working in
their midst seem to point in that direction.

The question is are we aware of this great UMNO sabotage that is under way to discredit the party and is there anything we can do to turn the tables?

To answer this question we must first understand that this UMNO attack is well planned and very precise, there are still many surprises to come, they are desperate to get PKR and the coalition out of the way.

To get at PAS and the DAP is the difficult part, mainly because these two parties have been long established and infiltrating them is difficult. They have done it in the past, they will do it again but the damage met out seems to b e minimal. The treat is Anwar, so go for the PR first and wipe Anwar out that is their strategy, then everything else will be like before.

What do you mean "like before?"

UMNO can go ahead with its great agenda of corrupt practices. There is the present Najib/UMNO dream of another tallest building in the world, that is an obsession, they feel by doing that they will prove to the
world at large that this is a great country, to their supporters this will be the propganda machine for another Ketuanan Melayu campaign.

The benefits (corruption based) derived out of such a project will boost UMNO again that is what they believe.

Muhyuddin needs to build his grass root base, he can only do so with a strong financing, and this project will give him that opportunity.

Najib with the ghost of Altantuya, hanging over his head and the immense control of Plastic Rose, which he can't shake off and who has literally taken control of his office as PM. He needs a something big to put a halo around his head and he believes this is it.

To do all this they have to get Anwar out of the picture. Then there is the Mahathir factor, this arch crook saw it much ahead of his time, he could well be the architect. Sleeping Dollah was not the type to handle a marauding Anwar, so he used all his influence and brought
Najib in. In fact it is rumored that Mahathir spent a personal fortune plus he got others in his circle to contribute to the down fall of Dollah, because he saw Anwar as a personal threat to him and his
family's ill gotten wealth.

The Saiful saga and what is called Sodomy 2 was the first part, they are terribly embarrassed by it that is Najib and some of his cabinet members. Never before in the history of the country not even in Sodomy 1 with the judge who suddenly turned rich and bought flashy luxury cars has justice been so tampered with.

In sodomy 2 the way judges have behaved has rendered the word "justice" in this country vulgar. Such is the desperation of UMNO.

They have that feeling that they can let Sodomy 2 go, to showcase to the world that our justice system that is so corrupt and lop sided is clean and fair, they need that 'show case' to work to get maximum mileage, right now they can't and it is affecting the FDI and creating
an outflow of capital from this country.

FDI will remain low in fact it will get lower by the years, they know it and that too is one of the reasons they require another tall building. Tall buildings have almost always been the answer of UMNO since Mahathir.

They are buying people and people you least expect will turn coat.

Turn Coats? Who?

Well we all know the case of the Perak UMNO state assemblyman who crossed over to PKR, the Trojan horse so to speak, and later people from the then PR coalition crossed over and he too crossed back to
give the BN the majority they needed.

I think PKR has to be very careful, I have serious doubts about the sincerity of Zaid, to me he seems to be committed to destrying the PKR, in fact I do not think I am the only one who feels that way, many others too feel very strongly the same.

Zaid is not a novice, he is a seasoned politician, he knew "how to spoke the wheel", he knew how to "throw the spanner into the works."

Like I said he is no novice, he knew by going for the deputy Presidency he would be drawing Anwar to play his game. He wanted to get Anwar to back him, but then Anwar is no Novice too, and Anwar's deputy needxs no testing for sincerity, he has proven himself not only
to Anwar but the party at large. he has tremendous grassroots support, the grassroots love him, they are now suspicious of Zaid and Zaid knows it so he goes about making wild allegations to nullify the PKR
elections, he is trying an UMNO on PKR.

UMNO has all the experience to carry that out, you have KU Li and Mahathir their eto tell you how to operate it from both sides, so who do you think are those who play the flip side.

Zaid knows what his actions will do to the party, but he has underestimated the membership and the sentiment of the rakyat, he is now playing his cards.

Take it from me he is not the only Turn Coat, Wee Choo Keong turned Coat and we all witnessed it, then there is GobalaKrishnan waiting for his opportune moment. They are puppets on a string, they wait for the moment that UMNO pulls the string and they dance, and the the dance is called the how many millions do you want me to dance for?

One other person looks like he is being set up to make the cross, that will be Najib's trump card, the negotiations are going on, I believe in London with one interested party in Malaysia too, it will come believe me it will, but it is something I will not want to comment on.

Is the situation really bad?

For PR? well yes and more so for PKR, but and it is one big BUT there is still hope.

If all of us do our part let the others know the hypocrysiy of UMNO and the BN, how UMNO robs the Melayu and the Bumiputera, how the MCA and MIC do the same to their people, and how the natives of Sarawak and Sabah are being made fools of then we can turn the tide.

It's not too late we have to start now, but on low key then gradually increase the tempo, we can if we want to we can make the change. and change we must.

Lee Chong Meng the Doctor Ayam (prostitute) - Chinese version of Ibrahim Ali?

Dr. Lee Chong Meng's name has recently been hitting the headlines, but the one that really caught my attention is this article in Malaysiakini that reported that after having successfully applying for membership and now successfully elected as PKR Bukit Bintang Division head, he had been exposed as also being a member of the eunach MCA.

Dr. Lee Chong Meng has himself described himself as Doctor Ayam (Chicken Doctor with the chicken having the negative connotation of prostitute). BTW he sure looks a bit like that King Frog Ibrahim Ali (see photo below, courtesy of Malaysiakini):

Dr Lee Chong Meng - Dr Ayam or doctor of prostitutes

The complete picture has not been revealed yet but I sure hope that Dr. Ayam does not become the Chinese version of Ibrahim Ali.

More photos: Doctor Ayam Lee Chong Meng in Anti-Bersih rally

Me, anyone who demonstrate against the BERSIH Rally for free and fair elections will definitely raise my suspicion. How did such a Doctor Ayam not only get admitted to a reform minded PKR but also got elected unopposed as Bukit Bintang division chief?

At this stage of my life I try as much as possible to steer away from stupidity and avoid it
like a plague stupid homo sapiens. I can take it when animals act stupid. But stupidity in men and women gets on my goat. I have a very high tolerance for things provocative, intimidating, even seditious,.... even malicious, but never stupidity! So what got on my goat? That Dr. Ayam (above).
This from Bernama:

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 25 (Bernama) -- Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate for Bukit Bintang parliamentary seat, Datuk Dr Lee Chong Meng, has urged voters to give him a chance to show what the BN government could do to benefit them.

Damn....you got your chance when you were given BB against all rules by that now ousted CJ, whats his name? You became MP because that fairy...or whatever his name is, gave it to you without a by-election. I can take sluggishness, but not sloppiness that resulted in you losing to a used-car dealer who cannot string two sentences in English and Bahasa together to wake up those sleepy-head MPs and the chief honcho.

Damn, we gave the BN close to 50 years and we are still deeper into the pits. The BN government had fifty years and who are you to ask to give you a chance to show what the bN government could do to benefit the rakyat? What cockmamie drivel are you driving at. You lost to the dealer?

"I have been working hard in this constituency for 15 years trying to influence voters to switch their support to BN.

Well, that little finger with the extended nail (false, a BB Ah Moi manicurist product) didn't help you for fifteen years and you want another chance. My mother threatened me that if I could not complete a simple task in her kitchen she was willing to sell me at a loss, and here you are asking for another chance. Pack your bags and go examine more chickens.

"They already gave DAP 11 chances. I think it would be fair if they give BN a chance this time around," he said.

That is unaduterated chicken shit.

"With just 12 days of campaigning to go, I expect the votes to increase to 51 percent to enable me to wrest back the hot seat from the DAP," he said.

That is what will now be known as a cheap (chick) dream.

Dr Lee said he expected about 49 percent popular votes for now from a total of 61,051 voters.

Hello, Nostradamas was a hoax and he was on exotic grass everytime he made a prediction, if you must know. I know, but I can't tell you....it is a Barisan Rakyat preserve.

Demonstrasi jejas perniagaan

So BERSIH…Fikirlah sendiri yo!!!!!! Jangan Jadi Bangang, Bodoh, Dungu!!!!

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 24, 2007: Lulu's Thank You Letter To Mr Policeman

Dear Mr Policeman,

Thank you for your work in keeping our city safe by setting up round-the-clock roadblocks in the Klang Valley as part of crime-prevention activities.
Some papers like the meanie Star & NST and even Malaysiakini have said that you said that this is in connection with the Hindraf rally planned for this Sunday outside the British High Comm on Jalan Ampang.
Lulu thinks that the "Hindraf rally" excuse was a cover up to your real intention, which is to catch the perpertrators involved in the slashing of our nation's second hero, Malaysian angkasawan Mej Dr Faiz Khaleed.
Brilliant, Mr Policeman, absolutely brilliant to lay a red herring.
Like you, Lulu was shocked and appaled to hear that two parang-wielding men attacked him during a robbery leaving him with a 5cm slash wound which requires 100 stitches . [are you puzzled like Lulu about how they can squeeze 100 stitches into a 5cm wound?]
Anyway, like you, Lulu wants to have those men caught before they inflict these kind of injuries on another person.
Yes, Mr Policeman, we need those roadblocks to weed out bad hats from entering the city.
Lulu thinks that you're absolutely brilliant in hoodwinking everyone into believing that you are out to stop the Hindraf rally which as Lulu has mentioned before, was planned for this Sunday outside the British High Comm on Jalan Ampang. This will proabably cause those parang-wielding men to drop their guard, and as a result, be nabbed by you.

Mr Policeman,
Lulu also read you urged the public not to enter Kuala Lumpur during the weekend if they do not have any urgent matters to attend to.
Mr Policeman,
Senator Lee Chong Meng [you know, the MCA chairman for Bukit Bintang, who could not win an election via the ballot box, but still managed to serve part of a term as MP there due to a court decision] may hold another hotel protest with his Jalan Alor traders and blame you for the drop in sales this weekend.
Mr Policeman,
Lulu hopes you will be strong and not cry.

Whilst Lulu is still on being strong and not cry, there are moments when you need to cry. If you are still grieving over the police force's lack in making any headway in the gruesome murder of Nurin Jazlin, Lulu's advice for you is to cry. Cry your heart out. Look at your own children, and cry your heart out again. Then resolve to find the killer(s) behind her horrible death.

oh, Mr Policeman,
This chap here looks a ruffian and a troublemaker. Definetly looks like a "crime prevention" clean-up candidate.
Whether he is or not, that is our own personal view.
But Mr Policeman, you must let him through even if he looks like that because he is the PM's son-in-law. Lulu don't want to see you transferred or demoted.

thank you Mr Policeman.
Lulu loves you xxx

p/s don't tell Mrs Policeman about this. She may not understand.

Anti-Bersih Rally Protest – Dr Ayam & Bukit Bintang MCA Gang & 40 NGOs mainly Traders; Another M-C-A Money Controls All inspired initiative

Malaysiakini would not have cover this cheap MCA inspired protest against the Bersih Rally and neither would Al Jazeera waste their time. The latest related Malaysiakin story is on
King: No royal support for Bersih rally (see also Below)
and Malaysiakini.tv spot on It's a bad joke: Lee's counsel

ABOVE: The historical moment, the crowd that was prevented into the Istana Grounds at about 4pm on Saturday Nov 10 2007.

It is hilarious to know that Dr Ayam ex-MP of Bukit Bintang Dr Lee Chong Meng is leading the Protest against the Bersih Rally claiming that it is “bad business” for traders. Did the Bersih Rally march went through the Bukit Bintang areas that he has reasons to complain? They know protest is illegal and they did not bother to apply for a permit to march around Bukit Bintang to show their displeasure. What and how did they protest? They went to a hotel had the placards and standing behind that MCA man - issued a statement condemning the Bersih Rally initiative - indoor style.
ABOVE & BELOW: Not in Bukit Bintang

Reading at the MCA controlled STAR’s account below & the NST, you can see the exaggerations used adding as usual the “salt & fire” to spice up that story. The reports says 80 NGOs and they rattled off just a few whilst the TV station says 40 NGOs. Some traders complained of the “losses” which were just for a day perhaps or was it just a postponement of business. The sacrifices & “losses” for the over 30,000 who came some from afar is much greater and all for a larger cause than these money moneyed china man which Raja Petra has so aptly and timely put it as:-

“Chinese must think of cari makan first. Chinese must protect their rice bowl. Chinese want to make sure that their business does not suffer so they must become running dogs of the Umno Malays. It’s all about money, money, money. Money comes first. Money calls the shots. M-C-A; Money Controls All.”

Now that a Royal Commison is instituted on the Lingam Video Clip and this Dr Ayam is the result of the “fixing of judgment” mentioned, they should go into his case of being rewarded the “MP of Bukit Bintang”. Retrogressively, his MP status should be taken away and deny the pension that he is enjoying.

KUALA LUMPUR: On weekends and public holidays, Beh Hock Heng’s dim sum restaurant on Jalan Alor is always packed but last Saturday’s illegal gathering caused him to lose thousands of ringgit as customers stayed away. The 65-year-old owner is furious, saying some customers could not come because of the massive traffic jam while others chose to stay indoors. “Even tourists, who often frequent my restaurant from the nearby hotels, refused to come out as they feared for their safety because of the demonstration,” he said. Beh was among a group of businessmen and representatives from 80 non-governmental organisations who attended a press conference yesterday in protest against the gathering.

The NGOs included the Kuala Lumpur Taxi Drivers Association, Federation of Malaysia Entertainment Associations, Jalan Alor Hawkers Association and Rukun Tetangga Pudu. Holding up placards, written in Bahasa Malaysia, English, Chinese and Tamil, the group complained that their businesses had been affected by the gathering. Taxi operator Leong Aw said taxi drivers lost much business because of the illegal gathering, saying it drove tourists away when they saw thousands of demonstrators in the streets of Kuala Lumpur. “The Government is promoting Visit Malaysia 2007 which will help us make money, especially during this festive season. Such a gathering is not part of the Malaysian culture,” he said. Bukit Bintang MCA division chairman Datuk Dr Lee Chong Meng said he was informed by hoteliers that many tour groups, especially from China, had cancelled their visit because of media reports on the protest. “We hope there will be no more protests because in the run-up to Hari Raya Haji, Christmas and Chinese New Year, a lot of activities are being planned in Bukit Bintang. We cannot afford to suffer any more losses,” he said.

= = == and from Raja Petra “15/11/07: MCA: the Malay running dog” emphasizing Dr Ayam’s "moneyed minded" problems.

This is not the first time The Star has distorted the news. One day before the 30 October 2007 Conference of Rulers, The Star reported that the Rulers will be discussing the extension of the Chief Justice’s term of office. One day after the Conference of Rulers, Bernama carried an announcement by the Keeper of the Royal Seal that the Rulers did not even touch on the subject. His Majesty, The Agong, a week before that, had rejected the extension of the Chief Justice’s tenure and that was enough for the Rulers. They supported what The Agong had decided and saw no reason for further raising the matter or to discuss it at the Conference. Anyway, Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi refuses to accept defeat. He still wants to get in the last word and show the Rulers who is boss. It appears like Penang may soon get a new Governor in the form of the recently-retired Chief Justice. I did say that the position of Governor is reserved for those who have no other place to go and this assumption will soon be proven beyond any shadow of doubt.
The Star, which is MCA-owned, and therefore can be interpreted as ‘Chinese’ since MCA claims to be the legitimate party representing Chinese interests, has also strengthened something else which I have been saying many times in the past: and that is the Chinese, in particular the MCA Chinese, are Umno’s running dogs. Yes, the Chinese are very upset. They condemn the present government as the ‘Malay’ government. They accuse the ‘Malays’ of screwing up the country. They refer to the government as ‘Islam-Malays’. But from where I am sitting it looks like it is the MCA Chinese and not the Malays who are Umno’s running dogs.

So, the Chinese are very upset. Yeah, sure they are very upset. They are very upset with the Malays. They are very upset because the Malays are running this country. They are very upset because the Malays are screwing up this country. Then why are they the running dogs of the Umno Malays? Yeah, sure, I know. They have no choice but to become the running dogs of the Umno Malays. Chinese are a minority.
Chinese must think of "cari makan" first. Chinese must protect their rice bowl. Chinese want to make sure that their business does not suffer so they must become running dogs of the Umno Malays. It’s all about money, money, money. Money comes first. Money calls the shots. M-C-A; Money Controls All.
No problem then. If money is the overriding factor and if money decides what you must do then do it. Be that Umno Malay running dog if you so wish and if that will guarantee you a good and prosperous future. I have no problem with that. But stop blaming the Malays for the ills of this nation. Stop blaming the Malays when this country goes to the dogs. The reason this country is going to the dogs is because you are the running dog, not because of the Malays.

Pakatan Rakyat traitors - guess who?

Syed Husin at the PKR (Parti Keadilan Rakyat or People's Justice Party) Congress at Kota Baru described various traitors who betrayed PR (Pakatan Rakyat) and gave the real reasons for them deserting PR but did not name names. Let us reproduce what he said and try to guess who they are. The image below courtesy of Malaysiakini will give you some clues:

Frogs: Pakatan Rakyat trators who betrayed their constituency

Traitor Number 1

"There is one, who was a gambling addict. He would go visit karaoke bars every night, had debts all over town including those with loan sharks. He had also wanted a high position in the state government. He made such a big hue and cry when he didn't get it, until the prime minister's aide called him gave a new party constitution (to set up his own party) to fight (Penang chief minister Lim Guan Eng). He was called to the disciplinary committee and he apologised to me personally. But just one day after that, he leaves the party"

My Guess: Tan Tee Beng, MP for Nibong Tebal.

Traitor number 2

"This man wanted to be the CEO of Kumpulan Darul Ehsan Berhad (KDEB) - an investment arm of the Selangor state government- which comes with a RM120,000 a month in salary. “At that time the Sultan of Selangor did not agree to it, and (the turncoat) became furious with the party and the ketua umum (PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim). He also revealed that Anwar, who is also the Selangor economic adviser, had to arrange for a committee to interview him anyway, but one of the committee member had strong objections. It turns out that this committee member knows this party leader's entire history. (The turncoat) also told me that he was ready to earn only RM1. But he only told me this after his application was rejected by the committee. Why not tell the committee during the interview itself."

My guess: PKR former Secretary-General Sallehuddin Hashim who is not in the picture and also not an elected MP or ADUN.

Traitor number 3

An MP who had defected thought that he could have all the riches in the world as a lawmaker. I knew him, even before he joined the party. At that time, he was already rich with all his logging contracts, but he thought he could be richer as an MP. When he could not get what he had wanted, he started cursing at ketua umum in public. In his anger, it was easy for some to approach him and offer to him. So he left and betrayed the party even more,” said Syed Husin."

My guess: Zahrain Mohd Hashim, MP for Bayan Baru.

Mohd Radzhi Salleh betrayed PKR

Have a good look at this photo of Mohd. Radzhi Salleh, Lunas state assemblyman and former PKR member but now declared himself an independent while supporting the Federal Government of Najib:

Note that he never gave any substantive reasons for leaving PKR, only giving a vague statement he is not happy with the PRK leadership without giving actual reasons or justifications.

Perhaps it is a blessing in disguise. Pakatan Rakyat had problems getting quality candidates to stand for election last March and are now paying for it. Read about those difficulties by Nat, a PKR member who should be in the know at Radzhi: The BN bloodthirsty crossover onslaught continues.

However, all these betrayal by such unsuitable candidates is bringing a cleansing to Pakatan Rakyat, particularly PKR and I am sure when the next General Election comes, Pakatan Rakyat will be cleansed of all weak and unsuitable candidates.

UMNO Assemblyman Nasarudin Hashim defect to PKR

Datuk Nasarudin Hashim, Umno Perak’s assemblyman for Bota, has quit the party with immediate effect and crossed over to PKR. Let this be the beginning of a flood of defections to Pakatan Rakyat and the formation of a new Federal Government.

PR (Pakatan Rakyat) to become political party and DAP, PKR, PAS party become component members

I hope Malaysian remember the BA (Barisan Alternatif) fiasco when DAP (Democratic Action Party), PKR (Parti Keadilan Rakyat) and PAS (Parti Islam SeMalaysia) formed a loose coalition to contest against BN (Barisan Nasional). PAS were insistent on turning Malaysia into an Islamic state. For that, Barisan Alternatif paid a heavy price, the heaviest by DAP.

Now the same 3 parties have again joined force against the Barisan Nasional and on March 8, 2008, created history which saw many states falling into the hands of PR Pakatan Rakyat, another loose coalition of DAP, PKR and PAS plus took away the much abused two-third majority of BN in the Parliament. This time PAS wisely played down the Islamic state issue. However, after the successes, again some PAS members started making statements regarding Islamic state and HUDUD. This can derail the loose coalition.

I earnestly do not want to see PR unravel and BN getting the upper hand again the next General Election. For this reason, I am coming up with a suggestion. Turn PR into a real political party with its own symbol for the next General Election (and hope BN will not put obstacles in its path). Call it a different name if they want. A constitution should be drawn up clearly stating exactly what this PR or replacement stand for. DAP, PKR, PAS or any other political parties which subscribe to what is stated in the constitution become component members. Each component members retain its individual political party status. Then if anyone wants to raise issues like for example Islamic state or HUDUD law should do it via their own party and not associate it with PR or alternative. And if they can no longer subscribe to PR or replacement, they can leave that coalition political party and contest the next General Election on their own. Then Malaysians will not be confused and hopefully Pakatan Rakyat or replacement will not meet the fate of that BA (Barisan Alternatif).

I hope this message reach the decision makers of DAP, PKR and PAS and they consider it seriously for I sincerely do want them to continue to make political progress and lead the way to better governance, unity and harmony for Malaysia

Open letter to DAP, PKR, PAS plus.......

First congratulations to the victors in this extraordinary 2008 Malaysia General Election.

To DAP plus PKR and to PKR plus PAS plus honest cooperation between the three (not coalition of DAP, PKR and PAS as the main stream media would like to believe), this is an open letter to appeal to you to first pass the FOI (Freedom of Information) Act, then followed by whatever you know to be for the good of Malaysia. Perhaps you already have plans to do that, so I do not want to try to claim credit if ever that FOI act plus....... ever get implemented. This is not the intention of this post. This is just perhaps just an encouragement to govern those states that you control in ways which a state should be governed. Then we can look forward to a Malaysian government that governs Malaysia as it should be government. Not through threats, through intimidation, through unjust imprisonments, through withholding of essential information from the public, through misleading the public, and I don't know what else. Perhaps you can help me add to the list by leaving a comment. Show them you can govern a country honestly, in the best interest of all Malaysians irrespective or race, religion, party, clan, whatever. Then you can be sure we will do our very best to keep you where you have now been placed in control over.

You probably know that better than I do, me being a non-politician and would like to believe, a non-partisan Malaysian owing no fixed loyalty to any particular party. My loyalty goes to those I see doing what is best for Malaysia and can change if things don't look good. I like what Haris Ibrahim declared in the DAP's SS2 Petaling Jaya ceramah (transcript: click BACK button to get back to this page): "If we can put them in, we can get them out."

We look forward to actions from you. May our hopes rest with you.

Barisan Harapan Rakyat (Coalition of Hope for Malaysians)

Vote DAP RocketVote PKR not Barisan
Vote DAP (Rocket)Vote PKR

Just Change it

Barisan has abused the two-third majority and amended the Constitution 50 times, many amendments containing multiple amendments, adding up to a total of 700 amendments!!!!! According to Haris Ibrahim at a SS2 Petaling Jaya ceramah (click BACK button to get back to this page), "A Member of Parliament upon joining the Parliament, take an oath to defend, uphold and preservere the Constitution. However, every BN (Barisan Nasional) MP has cooperated in dismantling our document systematically. In the process, taken away our rights. In the process, taking away our Constitutional Institutions" (edited).

He also gave a battle cry "Barisan Harapan Rakyat (Coalition of Hope for Malaysians)". Let us hope that this can become a reality and stop the rot in Malaysia. In the meantime, the two-third majority MUST BE TAKEN AWAY from the BN (Barisan Nasional). Of course, we hope that this "Barisan Harapan Rakyat (Coalition of Hope for Malaysians)" can form the next government after polling day.
