Malaysians, please don't be blinded by money and freebies
I hope Malaysians will not be blinded by freebies and free meals offered by this 1Malaysia NGO or money offered for their votes but vote according to what is in the best interest of Malaysia and that from what has transpired so far is definitely not putting the UMNO/BN complex back into power for they have really wrecked havoc upon Malaysia.
What is a couple of ringgit or freebies or free meals compared with the future of Malaysia? These will last only a short time and then will be gone but the future of Malaysia will be with you throughout your living span and will not only affect you but also your loved ones. Please Sarawakians, vote wisely.
Anwar sex tape - real or doctored? His Facebook posting
That "Anwar Ibrahim" sex tape was supposed to be recorded from 10.23pm to a0.45pm. So in order to find out whether it really was Anwar in that tape, we just need to look at his Facebook posting activities around that period.
According to Kim Kuek's investigation, Anwar had made Facebook posting at 10.40pm, 10.49pm, 10.50pm, and further another 7 more postings up till 11.28pm. So this indicates Anwar could not have been in that hotel room having sex with that female prostitute with a man watching.
Further that love-making part lasted 17 minutes while the tape duration was 22 minutes leaving only 5 minutes for the other activities featured in the tape:
1. "Anwar look-alike" (now called Mr X because of doubts created) walked into room with a male who gave instructions to a prostitute.
2. couple undressed
3. female walked into bathroom to take a bath
4. Mr. X wiped his lower body parts
5. Mr. X came out from bathroom, dressed himself and walked out of the room
Could all those above activities be completed withing 5 minutes?

How to detect 2 way mirror for ladies
Below an email forward alerting ladies about 2 way mirrors and how to detect them by simply placing a fingertip at the mirror surface and checking if there is a gap between the fingertip and its image or not. If there is a gap, then it is a genuine mirror and if there is none, then it is a 2 way mirror and ladies should beware. The alert had been improved by editing the images to highlight what to look out for below Or view larger images for genuine mirror and 2 way mirror:
![]() | ![]() |
| Gap between fingertips: geniune mirror | No gap between fingertips: 2 way mirror |
How can you tell when you are in a room, restroom,
motel etc. with a mirror or a 2-way glass?
Here's how: I thought it was quite interesting! And I
know in about 30 seconds you're going to do what I did
and find the nearest mirror.
Do you know how to determine if a mirror is 2-way or
not? A policewoman who travels all over the US and
gives seminars and techniques for businesswomen passed
this on.
When we visit toilets, bathrooms, hotel rooms,
changing rooms, etc., how many of you know for sure
that the seemingly ordinary mirror hanging on the wall
is a real mirror, or actually a 2-way mirror (i.e.,
they can see you, but you can't see them)? There have
been many cases of people installing 2-way mirrors in
female changing rooms . It is very difficult to
positively identify the surface by looking at it.
So, how do we determine with any amount of certainty
what type of mirror we are looking at?
Just conduct this simple test: Place the tip of your
fingernail against the reflective surface and if there
is a GAP between your fingernail and the image of the
nail, then it is GENUINE mirror. However, if your
fingernail DIRECTLY TOUCHES the image of your nail,
then BEWARE! IT IS A 2-WAY MIRROR!
"No Space, Leave the Place" So remember, every time
you see a mirror, do the "fingernail test." It doesn't
cost you anything.
REMEMBER. No Space, Leave the Place:
Ladies: Share this with your girlfriends, sisters,
daughters, etc.
Men: Share this with your wives, daughters,
daughters-in-law, mothers, girlfriends and/or friends

Scam alert: Unethical doctor recommends unnecessary surgery
In any case, I myself too I think had also nearly fallen for an unnecessary cataract removal operation. At community health check organized by a Doctor (not an eye doctor) I know offered free eye check where I had my eyes checked (by another man, presumably a doctor). The assistant told me I had cataract and need surgery. I had no problem with my vision so I replied I will wait till it get worst before I go for cataract removal. I was told that if I get it remove now, it will only require a small incision (cut). If I wait, they may have to do a larger incision and it may require stitches.
In any case, I went to Tun Hussein Onn Eye Hospital and the first doctor I consulted could no cataract. To make doubly sure, I had my eyes checked again at the University Hospital (Pusat Perubatan Universiti Malaya or PPUM). Here, they said I had slight cataract, but did not recommend surgery. I returned again to Tun Hussein Onn Eye Hospital for a second check by another doctor who had to dilate (make the pupil open bigger) the eye, and again concluded I have very slight cataract, only starting. No surgery.
So folks, when you get a diagnosis, it is good to get a second, even third or fourth, opinion. OK, here is the email forward:
Beware of Errant & Unethical Doc.
Dear friends,
I am a general surgeon in private practice in Kuala Lumpur . I would like to bring to the attention of the public the unethical practices of some doctors in private practice.
An 8-year-old boy was brought to see me by his father after suffering from fever, cough and vomiting for 1 day. He DID NOT HAVE ANY ABDOMINAL PAIN. He was initially seen by a general practitioner who insisted that the father bring him to see surgeon G at a specific private medical centre in Kuala Lumpur . The father at first refused and had wanted to bring his son to the medical centre where he was born but relented when the medical practitioner said that surgeon G will order some blood tests and will send his son home with some medications.
However, when he brought his son to see surgeon G, the surgeon examined his son's abdomen and pressed so hard that he elicited pain. Then the surgeon told the father that the son had a perforated appendix and insisted that he be operated the same night. The father was baffled because his son did not have any abdominal pain prior to that excrutiating examination but he reluctantly agreed upon insistence by the surgeon. About 1 hour prior to the surgery, the father suspected that something was not right and he asked for his son to be discharged. He then brought his son to see me.
The first thing I noticed was that the boy had a slight cough but he was very active. His father told him to jump to prove that he did not have any abdominal pain, which he did with great enthusiasm. After a thorough examination, I was convinced that the boy did not have appendicitis and definitely not a perforated one. I treated him symptomatically for upper respiratory tract infection and sent him home with some medications. The father was outraged with what happened to his son earlier but he was relieved that his son was saved from an unnecessary surgery. Professionally, I could not tell him that surgeon G may have tried to cheat him but, in my heart, I knew that was the case because I knew surgeon G very well and had inherited a few of his patients whom he operated upon and had botched the surgeries.
The next day, surgeon G called me and asked what happened to the patient. I told him I was certain that the boy did not have a perforated appendix but he insisted that the boy was very sick and had rigors (severe shivering) when he first saw him. Surgeon G said the boy improved tremendously after one dose of antibiotics. In my years of practice, I have not come across one case where one dose of antibiotics can cure a case of perforated appendicitis. IT IS JUST NOT POSSIBLE! He also said that the boy's father was a liar and had lied about his son not having any abdominal pain. Well, dear readers, I am a parent too. No father will lie about his son's health because he would have wanted the best treatment for his son.
I suspect surgeon G is giving kickbacks to many general practitioners to send patients to him to operate. In return, he would pay these general practitioners for each patient referred to him. He would cooperate with the general practitioners to convince the patients that they need urgent surgery. I have personally worked with surgeon G and I know that his skills are questionable. He told me once that it is alright for a patient to have a recurrent disease as a result of his incomplete surgery because he would then refer the patient to another surgeon to tackle the problem. He had caused one death from a thyroid operation and at least 2 cases of complications after galbladder surgeries which he refused to admit fault. In his clinic he has medical books with pictures of dangerous diseases which he uses to scare his patients into accepting surgery.
I am writing this to alert the public that there are doctors who are out for money only and are unethical in their practices. It breaks my heart that there are such individuals practising freely and fleecing off unsuspecting and vulnerable patients and giving this noble profession a bad name. The only defence patients have is to be knowledgeable about their own illnesses and not be afraid to ask questions. All patients have to right to a second opinion and no doctors should coerce their patients to accept treatment against their will. The only consolation I have is that most doctors, both in public and private practice, are still ethical and are sincere in helping their patients.
Please circulate this article to your friends and loved ones and lets hope no one will suffer in the hands of surgeons like surgeon G. Also, beware of the general practitoner who insists that you see a particular specialist in a particular hospital because he could be working hand-in-hand with that doctor.

Tip - use Google search to detect malicious sites
A blogger reported that he clicked a hyperlink (active URL) contained in a message from a Google group and was led to a malicious site and his computer went haywire. If not for his prompt actions, his computer would have met the deadly "blue screen" kiss of death. Another blogger posted a neat solution to try to avoid a similar fate when you want to visit a site through a hyperlink in your email or any other website. Highlight the URL, press ctrl+C to copy the URL (or right-click on the link and select "copy shortcut" (Internet Explorer, other browsers will be slightly different like "copy link address for Firefox),
go to Google Search Engine, paste the copied URL into the search box and search. If the site contains malicious software, there is a good chance that you will get a warning message, otherwise, click on the link in the search engine to go to the site.

Scam alert - mobile credit card reader
Hi everyone,
I want to let you all know that (name deleted for privacy) and I have been the victims of credit card fraud this week and felt I should warn you all about the clever scam. It works like this:
Last Wednesday I had a phone call late morning from Express Couriers to ask if I was going to be home as he had a delivery for me. He said he would there in roughly an hour. He turned up with a beautiful basket of flowers and wine. I expressed my surprise as I wasn't expecting anything like this and said I was intrigued to know who was sending me such a lovely gift. He said he was only delivering the gift and the card was being sent separately (the card has never arrived). There was a consignment note with the gift.
He went on to explain that because the gift contained alcohol he has to charge the recipient $3.50 as proof that he has actually delivered to an adult, and not left it on a door step if the recipient is out, to be stolen or taken by children. This seemed logical and I offered to get the cash. He then said that the company required the payment to be by Eftpos so he's not handling cash and everything is properly accounted for. Frank was there and got his credit card and "John" swiped the
card on this small mobile machine that also had a small screen upon which Frank entered in his pin number. A receipt was printed out and given to us.
Between last Thursday and Monday $4,000 was withdrawn from our credit account at ATM machines in the north shore area. It appears a dummy credit card was made using the details in the machine and of course, they had Frank's pin number.
The Bank has stopped our cards and I've been to the Police this morning, where they confirmed that it is a definite scam and many households were hit during the first 3 days of October.
So PLEASE be wary of accepting a gift you're not expecting especially if the card is not with it. We've all received gifts like this and would never dream that it could be such a despicable act. Please also let other female friends and relatives know. Hopefully, these fraudsters have ceased this activity by now but you never know. I wanted to warn all my friends.
(Name deleted for privacy)
P.S. I don't think I'll ever drink the wine - I'd probably choke
on it!
