Alert: Check your voter registered

During a voter registration exercise, a voter who totally have no connection with Johore somehow was found to be registered to vote in Johore. Fortunately this had been discovered before an election had been declare and we assume she would have time to go to the post office to get her polling center changed to the address in her IC (Identity Card).

I am sure you would not want to be surprised on election day to discover that unknown to you, you polling center has been changed to a faraway unreachable place which means you would not be able to vote.

and ensure your polling center is same as your address in your IC and/or is what you want it to be. If you have relocated to a new address, first change the address in your IC, then go to the nearest Post Office to request to change your polling center to that address in your IC.

Voter Registration - Empire Shopping Gallery, Subang Jaya

Election is coming soon and if you are 21 years and older but still not registered as a voter, you can do so this coming weekend at the Empire Shopping Gallery, Jalan SS16/1, 47500 Petaling Jaya:

Check your voter registration status: Why it is very important

Please do a quick check to see whether anyone has deleted your name from the list of eligible voters or transferred you to elsewhere like for example Timbukto. There have been reports of registered voters no longer on the list, transferred and even eligible voters who said they have never register to vote but found their name in the list of eligible voters. The Malaysian Election Commission cannot be trusted to be impartial as they should be.

Just key in your I/C No. and you should see your voter status. If the result is "record not found", do go to the nearest Post Office to get yourself registered. It will take only a few minutes.

General Election

We all know that once in a few years we are given the opportunity to vote.
Why vote? It has no effect on the outcome.

One vote alone may not count but many votes together becomes a voice to be reckoned with. Let your voice be heard.

This election, more so than others is a vital election because we are at a cross roads. If we get it right we will prosper; if we get it wrong, we will suffer as we have seen in our neighboring countries.

To help you decide please ponder these issues:

Do you think our politicians in power are corrupt?
Do you think our civil service is corrupt?
Do you think they are incompetent?
Do you think the people in power sets themselves above the law?
Do you think our leadership has lost its way?
Do you think we are getting more & more divided by race & religion?
Do you think we have a questionable justice system?
Do you think that they are wasting our wealth?
Do you think our children will suffer more?
Do you want to see change?

If you say yes to 3 or more of these issues, don't you think we need change? YOU CAN MAKE CHANGE HAPPEN!!!

Just send this to 10 other relatives or friends and ask them to do the sameto 10 of their friends and so on. By so doing we are enlisting the power of multilevel marketing. Yes the math works and it is awesome. By the 7th level this message would reach 1,000,000 people. Yes we can make our vote count! Better believe it!! We owe it to ourselves and to our children and to their children.

There will be a voter registration exercise cum carnival at the Church of the Holy Redeemer, Klang which is open to the public. Details as followe:

Voter registration at Lutheran Life Chapel PJ

Lutheran Life Chapel has organize a weekend voter registration exercise for the Community of SS4 and SS5 Petaling Jaya. Details as follows:

Date: 16 Oct ( Saturday )
Venue: Lutheran Life Chapel
Address: 37 Jalan SS4C/5, Petaling Jaya
Time: 10am - 4 pm

Church is open to the public. 1,200 flyers will be inserted in newspapers to households in SS4 & SS5. Time is extended so as to accomodate those who will be working half day. They will also be sending out Chinese translation of flyers.

Voter Registration: SUBANG VISTA LOW COST FLATS

Pleased be informed that Pakatan Rakyat wil be organising a voters registration exercise tomorrow at SUBANG VISTA LOW COST FLATS (see location map). They are many blocks at Subang Vista and they would like to have a multi racial presence. They are the poor and possibly many haven't registered. So they need help. Voter registration is from 8.00 am to 12.30 pm. Also calling for volunteers to help with registeration floor by floor.

Voter registration Church Our Lady Fatimah

The Church of Our Lady of Fatimah at Jalan Sultan Abdul Samad, off Jalan Tun Sambanthan, will be conduction a voter registration exercise today.

This voter registration exercise will be slightly different from the other voter registration programs conducted at other churches. This time, the Church of Our Lady of Fatimah is going to involve the wider community around Brickfields.

If you have not already registered to vote, do drop by the Church between 7am and 12pm today
