Documents missing: Should we demand for a Royal Commission to investigate?

The things that many feared had happened if theStar online is to be believed:

"All documents from the offices of the Mentri Besar and executive councillors in Kedah have gone missing."

Now if proven true in both Kedah as well as other States which the non-Barisan parties have wrested control, should concerned Malaysians, NGOs (non-Government orgarnizations), private citizen intiatives demand for a Royal Commission to force suspects to testify under oath and get to the bottom of the situation?
